Quite a big Cisco project. Completely re-building a company's head office network from the ground up has enabled us to design a brand new Cisco Network from scratch. Various factors had to be considered, including redundancy, fault tolerance, scalability, TCO and security.
With all this in mind we have designed a network based on the Cisco Enterprise Composite Model (and further breaking down the network design into Core, Distribution and Access Layers) and building security around the Cisco Self Defending Network, which is the integration of all Cisco Devices including Firewalls, Routers and Switches, into one manageable security system.
Ultimately the company will have a very reliable and secure network infrastructure, which can scale up over time without interrupting the business process.
